Participant Invite Engine

What's new
Upload a CSV of participants and Outset handles invite delivery, personalization, and follow-up reminders from within the platform. The first batch sends automatically when the study publishes. If someone does not respond within 24 hours, Outset sends one automated follow-up. Sending stops automatically when the study's target is met — Outset never blasts the full list.

Why it matters
Getting your own participants into a study has always required work outside Outset: drafting emails, sending from your own account, tracking who responded, following up manually. That coordination happens in Gmail and spreadsheets, which means more steps and more places for things to slip. The Participant Invite Engine moves the entire invite sequence inside the platform so researchers go from list to fielded study without switching tools.

Used for
Studies where you're recruiting from your own customer list, user base, employee group, or proprietary panel — any time you have a specific list of people you want to reach rather than recruiting through a panel.

How to use it
In study setup, select "your own audience" recruit mode. Upload a CSV of participant email addresses. Outset auto-detects the email and name columns — confirm the mapping and set your target. When you publish, the first batch goes out automatically. Additional CSVs uploaded after publish can be sent with the "Send new invites" button. Track invite status and completions from the study dashboard.
